First trip to Baja with the trailer, 2008

In the US around Yuma AZ and west I saw some amazing scenes....

A gripping new historical mystery

About this blog...

I'm a retired professional photographer, age 68. I love the desert and the wonderful cacti.

My first visit to Baja was almost to Catavina, in 1962, before the road was built.

My second trip, in late 2008, was to Bahia de los Angeles for kayaking (2008).

My third (2010) was all the way to Cabo from Wisconsin, and back. This journal is an account of my March 2010 trip.

My fourth (2012) was again all the way to the tip, including Carnival in La Paz, good kayaking, and an extended stay at Playa Tecolote near La Paz.

I share the Casita trailer with my partner Liz--but she still works, so doesn't come with me to Baja.
